Connell Foley’s John D. Cromie named Chair of USLAW NETWORK

John D. Cromie, partner at Connell Foley LLC in New Jersey, chair of the firm’s Corporate and Business Law practice and member of the Management Committee, has been named chair of USLAW NETWORK, Inc. for 2017-2018.  The announcement was made at the NETWORK’s annual member meeting in Carlsbad, California.  Cromie, who most recently served as USLAW vice chair, succeeds Lew Bricker of SmithAmundsen in Illinois.

“I am honored to be named chair of USLAW and to continue working with the Board of Directors and our membership to further many of the great initiatives that help us better service our clients’ legal needs,” said Cromie. “Experience, trust, friendships and strong working relationships are at the core of USLAW. I look forward to strengthening our strong foundation and creating new opportunities for members and clients, alike, so that we can continue to respond quickly and effectively to clients when needed.”

Cromie has served on the USLAW Board of Directors for several years and on the Executive Committee (EC) since 2014. He has been emerging industries director and most recently has served as vice chair of USLAW and client liaison director on the EC. He is a past chair of the USLAW Commercial Law Practice Group, and is a member of Banking & Financial Services Practice Group.
