USLAW NETWORK today releases its newest compendium of law, a multi-state resource that addresses relevant considerations with respect to invoking “force majeure” clauses in contracts in light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Written by USLAW NETWORK member attorneys, the compendium takes advantage of local knowledge and experience in each of the jurisdictions in which USLAW NETWORK firms practice.

“One long-term issue arising from COVID-19 will be future litigation resulting from the invoking of force majeure clauses,” said Roger M. Yaffe, CEO of USLAW NETWORK. “This compendium will provide USLAW clients further guidance on a state-by-state basis, including issues such as the requirement to obtain relief using force majeure and the possible scope of that relief.”

USLAW regularly produces new and updates existing Compendiums providing multi-state resources that permit users to easily access state common and statutory law. Compendiums are easily sourced on a state-by-state basis and are developed by the member firms of USLAW. For a complete listing of current compendiums, click COMPENDIUMS.
